Each of us is responsible for our experiences. Every thought we think is creating our future. The good news, however, is we can change our thoughts! We can release the past and forgive everyone, including ourselves. The following journal exercises can help you start the path towards healing.
How do you begin your day? What is the first thing that you say in the morning? Is it positive or negative?
Spend about 5 minutes being thankful for all the good in your life especially your spouse.
In your journal, write 50 positive things about yourself. Pay attention to your feelings while you are doing this exercise. Is there resistance? Is it hard for you to see yourself in a positive light? Continue on!
